Katrina

Katrina, formerly of the Grammy nominated band, Katrina & The Waves had their first big break in 1984, when The Bangles covered their song, ‘Going Down to Liverpool’. The band released their first album in 1985 – it was a substantial critical and commercial success and Walking on Sunshine was a worldwide hit earning top ten spots around the globe and has since been streamed over a Billion times on Spotify alone. Katrina & The Waves went onto have five more Top 40 singles including, Love Shine a Light – their Eurovision winning song in 1997. In 2005 Katrina formed her own band and toured Europe, America and Australia. She’s written and recorded 3 studio albums, a live album and a ‘Best of’ album and published 2 travel books.In 2020 Katrina released the album Hearts, Loves & Babys this was followed by several single releases; ‘Shut Your Mouth’ in 2023, ‘I Couldn’t Live Without Your Love’ in 2024 where it was Number 1 in the Heritage Chart for 2 weeks and ‘Honey Lamb’ in 2025. Katrina well be participating in the “Lost 80’s Live” 2026 Summer concerts in North America, we hope to see you in the Front Row!!
