Biography
A stylistically unique rock band from day one, the members of The Tubes have been singing, performing, and playing in sync as if they’d been together their entire musical careers. Formed in San Francisco in 1972, throughout the course of the band’s union, they have won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life; performing at a variety of venues, making loads of public appearances, all the while recording new music.
The group released their debut album in 1975, but are most well known for their 1983 single, “She’s A Beauty” which was a top-10 hit in the US, and had frequent play in the early days of MTV. The band was also nominated for a Grammy in 1981.
